Job Description SiS Folåsa is now seeking hourly temporary treatment assistants who can work as needed. As a treatment assistant, you help ensure that the unit's routines function as they should. You play a crucial role in providing stability and security for our youth and clients, and you are the foundation for daily life activities such as schooling, cleaning, meal preparation, and more. You help maintain security at the institution according to our procedures. Documentation is an important part of your work. You work to build good therapeutic relationships and help our youth and clients achieve the security and safety they need to break ingrained patterns of behavior. Together with your team of committed colleagues, such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied. Working hours vary based on need, and we are looking for people who can work day shifts, evenings, weekends, or night shifts. As a new employee at SiS, you will undergo tailored introductory training to prepare you for your assignment. Qualifications You must also have: At least a 2-year post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational school (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area. Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, such as work in psychiatry or in care services covered by the Swedish Disability Services Act (LSS). Class B driver's license Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written It is advantageous if you have: Experience working with people in vulnerable life situations, such as work in psychiatry or within LSS care services Experience from client-facing positions in the Swedish Prison and Probation Service, such as correctional officer Education in healthcare and care services Experience working with our target group (e.g., substance abuse care, youth care, young girls, etc.) Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need a strong ability to create engagement and participation. It is equally important that you have a well-founded positive view of people, strong empathetic abilities, and the ability to build good therapeutic relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and willingly share your knowledge with colleagues.
