Job Description Do you want to be part of creating life-changing transformation for vulnerable people? Then working as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. As a treatment assistant, you work in a team together with treatment educators and treatment coordinators, and together you are responsible for ensuring that the young people (non-school-age boys) living with us receive the safety, care, and treatment they need. With support from your knowledge of care and treatment work, you actively contribute to the implementation of treatment plans. Documentation is an important part of your work and contributes to legal security, planning, and monitoring of our operations. You contribute to maintaining security according to our procedures and help ensure that daily life runs smoothly with schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. Case worker responsibilities are also one of your tasks. Your work may also include mentoring new employees and trainees. Therefore, you need to have a good ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a solid positive view of humanity, great empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or other education equivalent to this. The education must be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area. - Exceptions to the requirement of at least two years of post-secondary education can be made in individual cases if there are special reasons according to section 5, chapter 4 of the Social Services Ordinance (2025:468). Start date by agreement. We also have 3 days of orientation that must be completed before you as an employee can work directly with clients, as well as on-the-job training with regular staff.
