WeMind HVB Vendelsö is a subsidiary of WeMind Psychiatry and operates a treatment home for young women experiencing mental health challenges. We are located in a peaceful residential area in Vendelsö, Haninge Municipality, with excellent transportation connections. Our foundation is the belief that placed youth need extraordinarily high-quality interventions to reverse negative development. Therefore, we invest in a model where care is designed and delivered by highly specialized professionals working in teams close to the young people in their daily lives.
Working as a Treatment Assistant
We work with a clear focus on each young person's individual treatment goals. Each young woman admitted to our facility receives her own team consisting of permanent staff responsible for her treatment content and objectives. The team develops individual-specific interaction strategies for each young person, which are then evaluated over time—these are among the most central parts of our treatment model.
As a treatment assistant, you work primarily with everyday support and treatment interventions. Active treatment work happens around the clock and in all of the young person's relationships; as a substitute treatment assistant, you therefore become a very important person in implementing the interaction strategies.
In practical terms, the work involves being available to plan and carry out leisure activities, supporting school and occupational engagement, maintaining contact with the young people's families, and assisting with daily routines including waking/bedtime, activities, medication, and meals—all with treatment as the focus.
The team structure offers close collaboration with our other professional roles such as social workers, psychologists, social/treatment pedagogues, nurses, and physicians. You will be introduced to the work by an experienced social pedagogue and always have access to other colleagues on duty as well as qualified on-call support around the clock.
Work Hours
Based on the facility's current needs, we are looking for an employee who can work on the existing shift schedule. Work hours include daytime, evening, and overnight sleeping shifts. Scheduled work includes every other weekend.
Employment Scope
Full-time, 37 hours per week.
Your New Workplace

We believe you will thrive with us if you are a calm and courageous person who enjoys working with a treatment focus and thinks it's exciting to get the opportunity to contribute your own ideas and take responsibility in our shared process of developing our treatment environment.
Our Offering
For us, it is important to have an exciting and educational work environment where each employee has a stimulating work situation, gets the opportunity to take responsibility and be involved in the treatment process, and where you also have fun at work. Read more about our offering.
You will learn about and work according to our treatment methods, which are specialized in TBA (Applied Behavior Analysis). We do not expect you to be an expert in TBA before you start, but we do expect you to have the willingness and curiosity to learn more about it. You will also be offered regular TBA supervision led by our psychologists.
