Job Description
Do you want to help create vital change for vulnerable people? Then working as a treatment assistant at SiS is a meaningful challenge. The goal of your assignment is to motivate our youth/clients toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that the ward's routines function as intended. You play a major role in providing stability and security for our youth/clients, and you form the foundation of daily life activities such as schooling, cleaning, cooking, and more. You work to maintain order and safety at the institution according to our procedures. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will work on building secure relationships and help ensure that our youth/clients receive the safety and security they need to break ingrained behaviors. Together with your team of engaged colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. The job is often demanding but also stimulating, rewarding, and varied.

Working hours are scheduled day and evening shifts with every other weekend off.
As a new employee, you will complete SiS basic training over 10 weeks. The training combines theory with supervised introduction and equips you for the treatment role in SiS operations.
Qualifications
Your personal suitability is key to vital change. Therefore, you need a strong ability to create engagement and participation. Equally important is that you have a well-founded positive view of people, great empathetic ability, and the ability to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and willingly share your knowledge with colleagues.
You must also have:
At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education must be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or other relevant subject areas.*
Class B driver's license
Good Swedish language skills, both spoken and written
Experience from client-facing positions within, for example, the Prison and Probation Service, the Migration Agency, or LSS
Experience working with our target group (for example, substance abuse care, youth care, young girls, etc.)
