Your mission is to motivate our clients toward new and less risky ways of living. As a treatment assistant, you are employed to provide care and treatment. You contribute to ensuring that routines on the unit function as they should. You play a significant role in providing stability and safety for our clients, and you are responsible for the foundation of daily life such as cleaning, meal preparation, and more. You work to maintain order and security at the institution according to our procedures. Documentation is an important part of your work. You will build safe relationships and help ensure our clients receive the security and support they need to break established patterns. Together with your team of engaged colleagues such as treatment educators and treatment coordinators, you have the opportunity to achieve good results and contribute to change. Working hours are scheduled night shifts at 81%. As a new employee, you will complete SiS basic training lasting 10 weeks. The training combines theory with guided introduction and equips you for the treatment role at SiS. Qualifications Your personal suitability is key to life-changing impact. Equally important is that you have a well-founded positive view of people, strong empathetic ability, and the capacity to build good relationships. You have good communication skills and can remain calm even in pressured situations. You also have the ability to collaborate with others and enjoy sharing your knowledge with colleagues. You must also have: - At least 2 years of post-secondary education from a folk high school or vocational college (KY/YH) or equivalent education. The education should be focused on social work, social pedagogy, behavioral science, or another relevant subject area.* - Category B driver's license - Good Swedish language skills, spoken and written Meritorious: - Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Prison and Probation Service - Security guard training - Experience from client-facing positions at the Swedish Migration Agency, e.g., officer at a detention facility - Education within care and healthcare - Experience working at SiS At SiS, we promote good employee relations.
