The young people are in complex life situations and have often grown up in disadvantaged circumstances. Many carry experiences of violence, substance abuse, and trauma and have developed their own risk behaviors as a result, often combined with neuropsychiatric challenges. Job Responsibilities As an awake night care worker, you are responsible for creating and maintaining a safe, secure, and stable environment for the placed young people during nighttime. You have continuous supervision of the operation and act as needed to ensure the young people's care, safety, and well-being. The role involves conducting supervision, documenting significant events, and managing situations that may arise during the night. For certain young people, special supervision or individually adapted interventions may be relevant based on their needs and implementation plan. You work independently, with good judgment and a calm approach, while being an important part of the operation's treatment and care work. A sleeping on-call care worker is also present on-site and can be called if needed. Qualifications You have relevant post-secondary education such as social pedagogue, treatment pedagogue, or equivalent qualification. You have experience working with young people. You have a good ability to express yourself in writing and are experienced in digital work. You master Swedish well, both spoken and written. A B-level driver's license is a requirement.
