Your Responsibilities As a care worker in social services open care, you have an exciting and meaningful role where you make a difference for children, young people, and adults. You work with both non-assessed interventions and needs-assessed interventions, with a focus on preventive and early interventions. The work is characterized by flexibility, accessibility, and high intensity based on the individual's needs. The new Social Services Act emphasizes early, preventive, and accessible interventions for children, young people, and families. In our transition work, we aim to meet people where they are and provide support before problems escalate. To achieve this goal, we collaborate with other resources, such as authorities and organizations. The team consists of 5 care workers led by a unit manager. With us, you will receive thorough training in your duties. You will also have opportunities for professional development and supervision. We offer flexible working hours with one wellness hour per week or a wellness allowance. The position is full-time, until further notice. Trial employment may be applied. Field work is part of the position. Your Profile We are looking for someone with a degree in social work, social pedagogy, or equivalent education that the employer deems appropriate. You have experience with treatment work involving children, young people, and families. You are confident working independently while valuing collaboration and have the ability to build trusting relationships even in complex situations. You have good ability to document interventions in accordance with applicable legislation. It is an advantage if you have training in, for example, FFT, MI, or other evidence-based treatment methods and have experience using the Pulsen Combine documentation system. B driver's license is required. A criminal record check will be requested before employment within the Social Services Administration, in accordance with applicable legislation.
