Sjöarp Group Housing is tasked with meeting member municipalities' needs for placements of adults with autism with complex support needs. Sjöarp can offer integrated housing with daily activities in a calm and secure environment just outside Bräkne-Hoby.
Sjöarp Group Housing has a total of 13 residential places distributed across 5 homes. The target group is diverse. Some have greater care needs while you may also work with higher-functioning autism.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
As a care worker, you support clients with personal care and a meaningful daily life and leisure time. You follow the client throughout the day, including in daily activities where engagement is tailored to the client's individual needs and circumstances.
To create security for clients, we use clarifying pedagogy, which originates from TEACCH pedagogy, as well as low-intensity interaction and motivational interviewing.
QUALIFICATIONS
We want you to have relevant post-secondary education in behavioral science, social work, or pedagogy, or alternatively relevant upper secondary education such as health and care or children and leisure with a focus on pedagogical and social work. Experience with similar work is a merit. Experience working with individuals engaging in self-harm or aggressive behavior is also valuable.
The position requires you to have a calm and secure manner and good collaboration skills. Quality assurance and documentation require that you communicate clearly in speech and writing and have computer skills.
You must have a category B driving license (manual) and an acceptable criminal record certificate from the police.
Salary form: Monthly salary.
Type of employment: Fixed-term contract.
Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: By agreement, end date: 2027-05-31.
Working hours: Shift work. Work every third weekend, possibly on-call.
