Built Heritage Specialist at Kulturmiljö Halland

About us
Kulturmiljö Halland is part of the Halland County Museums Foundation. We work to explore the cultural environments of Halland and how best to care for, use, and develop them. We do this through archaeological excavations and building heritage investigations of various kinds.
We collaborate with many different actors, such as municipalities, the regional administration, the region, and civil society. An important part of our museum mission is also to communicate knowledge about and the benefits of cultural heritage in public contexts in various ways.

About the role
As a built heritage specialist with us, you'll have varied responsibilities. You will work with:
built heritage investigations
heritage consultation
consultation and advisory services
handling of building permit and detailed planning referrals
communication within your area of expertise in connection with public events, exhibitions, and social media.
Who are we looking for?
We're looking for someone with an academic degree in the cultural heritage field, with a built heritage or building heritage specialization. You have experience with the above tasks and can perform them independently.
We place great importance on personal suitability. As a person, you are solution-oriented and a good listener, and you work well with both colleagues and external parties. You take responsibility for organizing your projects and ensure that tasks are completed.
It is a merit if you have:
certification regarding cultural values
experience with Photoshop, InDesign, GIS, and the Office suite.
You are fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written. A driver's license is required.
About the position
This is a fixed-term full-time position for 9 months, with the possibility of extension. Start date is as soon as possible by agreement.
