Boat Plater with Aluminum Experience Needed Immediately MK Manning is now seeking experienced boat platters / ship platters with good aluminum experience for immediate start on projects at various locations in Sweden. We are looking for you who have previously worked with sheet metal work in the boat, ship, or shipyard industry and who especially have experience processing, fitting, and assembling aluminum structures. The work is conducted on a project basis and requires you to be able to work on a traveling basis. When working at another location, accommodation and meal allowance are included. Work Tasks In the role you will, among other things: • Perform sheet metal work on boats, ships, and marine constructions. • Work primarily with aluminum sheet and aluminum structures. • Manufacture, fit, straighten, and assemble sheet metal parts and sections. • Measure, cut, shape, and process aluminum according to drawings. • Assemble and adapt structures directly on boat or ship. • Perform repair, rebuild, and new production work. • Work according to drawings, dimensions, and technical documents. • Perform tacking and simple welding work where the job requires it. • Ensure that the work maintains the correct quality and follows applicable safety requirements. We are looking for you who have • Documented experience as a boat plater, ship plater, or industrial plater. • Good and documented experience working with aluminum. • Experience from shipyards, ship industry, boat production, or marine industry. • Experience with fitting, assembly, and processing of aluminum sheet. • Good ability to read and work according to drawings. • Good understanding of dimensioning and tolerances. • Ability to work independently and take responsibility for your work. • Good collaboration skills and a solution-oriented working approach. • Possibility and willingness to work on a traveling basis. B driver's license is a merit. Merits It is a merit if you also have: • Experience with MIG and/or TIG welding in aluminum. • Valid welding licenses for aluminum. • Experience from larger shipyards or new construction of boats and ships. • Hot Work certification. • Safe Lifting certification. • Fall Protection training. • Truck or bridge crane license.
