In autumn 2022, Clarion Hotel Umeå finally opened its doors. Now we're looking for driven and passionate bartenders who want to help us create a wonderful meeting place to be in Umeå. The hotel has 270 rooms and a fantastic meeting arena with a banquet hall of 500 square meters, a restaurant on the top floor with a terrace, gym & spa. Here we will create a new vibrant living room, a natural place to be, regardless of the occasion. Clarion Hotel Umeå is one of the first hotels in Sweden to house Strawberry's new restaurant concept, NÒR. A modern European concept developed with Nordic cuisine and a central meeting place that will become the local population's first choice. Through a mix of Scandinavian and Central European dishes, our chefs develop well-known classics. Hotel is about relationships, and we know that the real power lies in people. At Clarion, we work with a reinforcing feedback culture to help and lift each other, always with the goal of delivering a personal and passionate service that leads to good results. Now we're looking for a driven and experienced Bartender. You are a charismatic person with solid experience from similar roles. You have a strong local network where you see you have followers who can help create success together with you. Together with the team, you will create unforgettable experiences for the hotel's guests. For you, collaboration, openness, and the insight to take full ownership—not just for your area, but for the guest's overall experience—are important. Always and every time! The position includes: - Expected to be operational and capable and willing to perform all tasks carried out by department staff - Working hours distributed across evenings, weekends, and in some cases daytime - Drive upselling efforts - Ensure the daily cash register is correct and properly accounted for - Have a social personality and service mindset, providing personal service and recommendations to guests - Be responsible and ensure laws and guidelines are followed - Handle stress and work at a fast pace - Be initiative-driven and self-sufficient and able to work as part of a team - Have a good attitude toward work and value work ethic Are you as curious about us as we are about you?
