Activity Description Myrans Preschool has four classrooms with 18 children per group, ages 1–5 years. The preschool is well-located in a quiet residential area with a large schoolyard featuring excellent play areas and forest access just beyond the fence. We are now seeking two temporary childcare workers for Myrans Preschool! Job Responsibilities As a childcare worker, you will work with your team to create a safe and developmentally stimulating educational environment for children in the preschool classroom. The curriculum guidelines outline your responsibilities as a team member in developing, monitoring, and evaluating activities and education. As a childcare worker, you will be part of a work team and participate in planning, implementing, and evaluating the educational experiences offered to children. In collaboration with your team, children will be given new challenges and supported in their social development. Qualifications Experience working in preschool, childcare training, or other relevant experience deemed appropriate by the employer. Fluency in Swedish, both spoken and written. Personal suitability is given considerable weight. Under the national minority language law, Gällivare Municipality is the administrative authority for Sámi, Meänkieli, and Finnish. Knowledge of any of these languages is a merit in applications for employment with Gällivare Municipality.
