The Valbo preschool area comprises 8 preschools. Fridebo preschool consists of three separate departments where we work with mixed-age groups. The preschool has an inspiring local environment with proximity to playgrounds, sports facilities, and forest, as well as good bus connections to central Gävle. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are seeking a dedicated childcare worker who wants to contribute to a safe, playful, and educational everyday life for the children. You are present, collaborate well, and are passionate about creating good relationships.
Your job responsibilities include:
• together with your colleagues, being responsible for educational work with children ages 1-5 years
• continuously working to create a safe, secure, and educational environment that encourages and challenges children to play, engage in activities, and learn
• contributing to planning, implementation, documentation, and follow-up as well as evaluation of the operation in accordance with decided objectives and guidelines
• working toward a good health-promoting and accessible environment for care, play, physical activity, development, and learning
QUALIFICATIONS
You are a structured and confident childcare worker with the child at the center.
We are looking for someone who:
• has completed upper secondary school
• is trained as a childcare worker
• is familiar with the preschool curriculum and other governing documents
• has good language and communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written.

• you inspire confidence and create trust. You have the ability to spread calm and stability
• you are curious, creative, and open to new solutions
• you take initiative in social situations and have the ability to build trust in your professional relationships

As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you provide an extract from the criminal record register for work in school or preschool.
