The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varberg Municipality's largest departments with nearly 2,200 employees. Within our areas of operation—preschool, primary school, and child and student well-being—we are here for children and students, together shaping their futures. Trönningebjärs Road Preschool is located in the community of Trönninge, approximately 5 kilometers north of Varberg. Here there are eight sections with space for 140 children. The preschool has a large yard, divided into several smaller yards, and close proximity to several beautiful natural areas. 1 position(s). WORK TASKS As a childcare worker with us, you are one of the children's most important adults. You ensure their day at preschool is fun, safe, and educational. Main responsibilities: • Create a safe and inspiring daily environment where each child is met with competence and warmth, and where you actively contribute to an environment where everyone feels included. • Help children who need extra support. You find approaches that work for each individual and work closely with your colleagues to ensure all children thrive. • Participate in planning and implementing pedagogical work and use pedagogical documentation to follow children's learning processes. • Build trusting relationships with children's guardians, where together you create the best conditions for the child's development and needs at preschool. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is responsive to children's needs and has a natural ability to create safety, where an inclusive approach is a given so everyone feels at home in the group. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy contributing to a positive team. Since the preschool day is changeable, you are solution-focused and meet small and large challenges with a positive attitude and calm confidence. We are looking for someone who: • Has upper secondary education, Children and Recreation Program, or equivalent that the employer deems comparable. It is meritorious if you have: • Experience working with children with special needs • Experience working continuously with pedagogical documentation. We place great emphasis on personal suitability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 6 months or longer, start date: 2026-08-31 Start date by agreement, end date: 2027-04-04.
