Job Responsibilities As a childcare worker, you are a trusted and important adult who participates in both opening and closing routines, you implement planned instruction and conduct conversations with guardians. You contribute to ensuring that all children and guardians receive safe, positive, and professional treatment. The preschool is open between 6:00 AM and 6:00 PM, which means working hours vary within this timeframe. Qualifications We are looking for someone who is a certified childcare worker with at least 2 years of experience, and experience working with children with neuropsychiatric disabilities. You have a genuine interest in child development and learning and view children as competent individuals. You have an open and positive approach that creates conditions for building trust and confidence in interactions with children, guardians, and colleagues. You see pedagogical documentation as a natural part of your work and have experience conducting developmental conversations. You have a special education interest and have worked successfully with children with special needs. Visual support methods such as TAKK and picture support are a natural part of instruction, and it is also natural for you to work with a low-affective approach, where structure and preparation create a secure daily routine.
