The Preschool and Primary School Administration is one of Varbergs kommun's largest departments with close to 2,200 employees. Within our areas of operation—preschool, primary school, and child and student wellbeing—we are here for children and students—together we shape the future. We are now seeking a childcare provider for the personnel and quality pool at Göthrik, Ekebo, Rolfstorp, Skällinge and Valinge preschools. This means you work and are scheduled at the home base that needs staff for the day. You work according to personnel pool agreement (attachment D) and your notice period is 30 minutes. The work can vary between different home bases during a work week. 1 position(s). JOB DUTIES As a childcare provider with us, you are one of the children's most important adults. You ensure that their day at preschool is fun, safe and educational. Main duties: • Create a safe and inspiring everyday life where each child is met with competence and warmth, and where you actively contribute to an environment where everyone feels included. • Help children who need extra support. You find ways that work for each individual and work closely with your colleagues so that all children thrive. • Build trusting relationships with children's guardians, where together you create the best conditions for the child's development and needs in preschool. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who is attentive to children's needs and has a natural ability to create security, where an inclusive approach is self-evident so that everyone feels at home in the group. You have good collaboration skills and enjoy contributing to a positive work team. Since everyday life at preschool is changeable, you are solution-focused and meet small and large challenges with a positive attitude and calm confidence. Working in a substitute pool places expectations on you being a flexible person who is comfortable switching work environments and can quickly adjust. Since you will be working in different work teams, we consider it natural that you work well with others and are receptive to others' suggestions and opinions. We are looking for someone who: • Has upper secondary education, Child and Recreation Program, or equivalent that the employer deems equivalent. It is meriting if you have: • Experience with children with special needs • Experience working continuously with pedagogical documentation. We place great importance on personal suitability. Salary form: Monthly salary. Employment form: Fixed-term employment. Duration: 3-6 months, start: 2026-09-28 Start by agreement, ends: 2026-12-23.
