The Northeast preschool area encompasses 13 preschools and is the largest geographic preschool area in Gävle Municipality. We work towards and prioritize equity in our area, and the preschools collaborate in various quality networks. Common to the area are our prioritized focus areas—pedagogical approaches and pedagogical environments using a thematic and process-oriented working method. DUTIES We are seeking a dedicated childcare provider who wants to contribute to a safe, playful, and educational day for the children. You are present, collaborate well, and are passionate about building good relationships. Your duties include: • sharing responsibility with your colleagues for pedagogical work with children ages 1-5 years • continuously working to create a safe, secure, and educational environment that attracts and challenges children towards play, activities, and learning • assisting with planning, implementation, documentation, follow-up, and evaluation of activities according to established goals and guidelines • promoting a good health-promoting and accessible environment for care, play, physical activity, development, and learning QUALIFICATIONS You are a structured and confident childcare provider with the child at the center. We are looking for someone who: • has completed upper secondary school • is trained as a childcare provider • is familiar with the preschool curriculum and other governing documents • has good language and communication skills in Swedish, both spoken and written. To succeed in the role: • you have the ability to see what needs to be prioritized, are efficient, and use resources to achieve the best results • you inspire confidence and build trust. You have the ability to convey calm and stability • you are curious, creative, and open to new solutions • you take initiative in social situations and have the ability to build trust in your professional relationships • you have an unpretentious approach in your collaboration with colleagues, children, and guardians As a final candidate in the recruitment process, it is a requirement that you provide a certificate from the criminal record register for work in schools or preschools.
