In a pilot project within the Knowledge Department, we will increase staffing levels at two preschools to examine how this can affect health, work environment, staffing, quality, and provide more time for the children. The pilot project runs for 2 years and applies to Fäbogården Preschool and Jernvallens Preschool. As a result, we are now seeking a childcare worker for Jernvallens Preschool for a project employment lasting two years. Jernvallens Preschool is located adjacent to Jernvalls School and consists of three departments. Two departments with older children and one department with younger children. The preschool has spacious and fresh facilities that inspire play, learning, and creativity. We have our own kitchen where our cook prepares the food. 1 position(s). DUTIES As a childcare worker, you are an important part of the work team and contribute to creating a safe, fun, and educational environment for the children. You work closely with preschool teachers and colleagues with both planned and spontaneous teaching and are active in the entire educational process from planning to evaluation. To provide good conditions for your assignment, we offer free pedagogical meals, free work clothes for outdoor use, and a personal work computer, which facilitates your daily work and allows you to focus fully on the children's learning and development. You contribute by: • Implementing teaching based on curriculum guidelines and planning • Working systematically toward established goals together with the work team • Encouraging and challenging children in their ideas, problem-solving, and learning • Reflecting on and analyzing learning processes and pedagogical methods • Creating accessible learning environments with a focus on clarifying pedagogy We make each other better by: • Working in smaller groups to meet each child's needs • Developing teaching with scientific foundation and proven experience • Being present and engaged in children's everyday life • Continuously developing our approach and trying new methods • Caring for a good work climate and respectful treatment QUALIFICATIONS As a childcare worker with us, you need to be confident in your professional role and have the ability to create trusting relationships with both children and colleagues. You have a reflective and curious approach, and actively contribute to developing teaching by analyzing learning processes and pedagogical methods. It is important that you have good teamwork skills and enjoy working in a team, where you share knowledge and experience to strengthen both the children's development and the team's collective work. You take responsibility for your tasks, are solution-focused, and dare to try new ways of working together with others. The assignment requires: • Childcare worker training with complete upper secondary school grades or other education/experience that the employer deems equivalent • Good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written • Experience with language development work in preschool Experience working with smaller groups of children, clarifying pedagogy, and accessible learning environments is meriting.
