Childcare Provider Sought

We are a small preschool unit located at Högbergsgatan 48 in the heart of Södermalm. The preschool has capacity for 30 children and 6+1 educators. We have two age-divided groups—younger and older—and we are now seeking an additional childcare provider to work with us and the younger children ages 1-3, with particular responsibility for the three-year-old group. We are looking for cheerful, energetic childcare providers with very high work ethic who love children! You should be flexible in your work, responsible, have good pedagogical abilities, and collaborate well with colleagues and parents. Childcare provider training is clearly a merit, though great emphasis is placed on personal suitability and prior experience working in preschool. You should be able to plan, implement, and evaluate activities in accordance with the goals in the Preschool Curriculum and the principal's stated objectives for the program. You must be well versed in and work according to the Preschool Curriculum. You must have the ability to clearly see and apply a child perspective, maintain good and close contact with colleagues and guardians, and have the ability to plan, follow up, and document work within the child group. We document both quality assurance for the program as well as through children's digital portfolios and regular documentation on our intranet and preschool app. You will participate in all of our activities and joint team meetings, parent meetings, and parent conferences. You will also handle pedagogical documentation, etc. We are therefore seeking someone with prior experience working in preschool who has correct command of the Swedish language in both speech and writing. The position is full-time (100%) and available from September 1st, or alternatively by agreement.
