Rönnbergs Friskolor opened its first preschool in 1993 and now operates 8 preschools in the Stockholm area. We are located in Spånga (Stockholm), Täby, Saltsjö-Boo in Nacka, Taxinge in Nykvarn, and on Ekerö. We have a holistic view of children as global citizens and want our activities to involve the heart, mind, body, and soul of both children and staff. At preschool Kul located in Björknäs, we are now seeking a childcare worker on a part-time/full-time basis as a resource for children who need extra support, particularly for their language development. It is important that you yourself have good Swedish language skills and can be a language role model at the preschool. Do you have experience working with TAKK, visual supports, and children who face challenges in their language development? You will work in a smaller group of children together with a preschool teacher and a childcare worker. Working hours may vary between 6.30 and 17.30, which are the preschool's current opening hours. All tasks that occur at a preschool are part of your responsibilities, as it is a small preschool where educators help each other with all duties. The preschool's educational mission is naturally based on the curriculum with a special focus on supporting children's language and social development, as well as sustainable development by demonstrating good choices in economic, social, and environmental terms. Outdoor time and joy in movement are also important aspects for health and wellbeing and are included in the preschool's sustainability work. Personal qualities: You should be positive, flexible, proactive, and able to cooperate with children, parents, and colleagues in an empathetic and responsible manner. It is important that you are responsible and independent as well as having personal maturity. You have good communication skills and enjoy sharing knowledge and experiences. You contribute to creating a positive and developmental environment for each child and for the entire group of children.
