Preschool Operations is part of the Education Administration. We work toward an equitable preschool where every child's right to education is in focus; we clarify professional roles and responsibilities for preschool teachers and childcare providers. Our vision is for preschool to support each child regardless of their circumstances so that all are given the opportunity to develop toward their goals. Our aim is to offer supportive learning in an inspiring and safe environment that meets individual and societal needs. With us, professional development and networking occur continuously. We have a coordinated overarching professional development plan and five study days per year. Preschool Operations has its own special education specialists. All our preschools have work uniforms for both indoor and outdoor use, a step in our work to improve attendance in the operation.

WORK DUTIES
We are looking for you to work as a temporary substitute when regular staff are absent in preschool areas East and West.
Preschool Area East consists of nine preschools located in Borensberg, Österstad, Klockrike, Fornåsa, and Tjällmo, as well as pedagogical care activities in Motala.
Preschool Area West consists of seven preschools located in Motala, Godegård, and Nykyrka.
As a temporary substitute with us, you are expected to be able to start work with short notice at various times during the operation's opening hours.
We see that you are someone with commitment and curiosity about children's development and learning. You are clear yet attentive in your communication style and have a warm and welcoming manner toward both children, guardians, and colleagues. You have an enthusiastic work style and good communication skills and can express yourself well in both speech and writing in Swedish.
Our values require that everyone working in our preschools must uphold each person's inherent value and respect for our shared environment. Our preschools should be characterized by a curious approach where we meet each individual with respect and in an attentive manner.
QUALIFICATIONS
A category B driver's license and access to your own car are required.
It is a merit if you have upper secondary education as a childcare provider, a children and recreation program, or other education that the employer deems equivalent.
It is a merit if you have experience working with children in preschool or other work that the employer deems equivalent.
Employment form: Fixed-term position.
Duration: Start date is rolling; End date: 2026-09-30.
Work hours: Working hours vary during operation's opening hours 06:00-18:00
