We are now recruiting a childcare worker to our Western Visby preschool district. The district consists of the following units: Asken, Humlan, Linden, Kabyssen, Heden and Törnekvior. All preschools are centrally located in Visby. The district is led by a leadership team consisting of a principal, two assistant principals and two special education teachers. As a childcare worker with us, you will have an educational, varied and enjoyable job where you work together with us for children's development, care and learning. The position is linked to the Heden special preschool, but as a childcare worker with us you will also be able to work at other preschools in the district. At the Heden special preschool there are places for children with disabilities. At Heden we work with small groups of children and higher staff density to enable more targeted support for each individual. Within the Western Visby preschools, we strive to have a high-quality operation through, for example, a high proportion of qualified educators, collegial learning and a reflective working approach. Your duties As a childcare worker, you are part of a pedagogical team of preschool teachers and childcare workers. In your role as a childcare worker, you support the preschool teacher in planning, conducting, developing and evaluating teaching based on the needs of the group, the individual child's needs, the preschool's curriculum and the administration's quality work. As part of the preschool's team, you help shape the preschool's pedagogical environments and participate in development conversations, parent meetings and cooperation between home and preschool. Together we create a high-quality preschool that children and parents can look back on as a positive and developmental time in the family's life. The role includes supporting children in need of support in the educational activities. Who are you? We are looking for you who are a motivated professionally trained childcare worker. You understand and master Swedish in speech and writing. You also need to have digital competence, both for your own work and for work with children. We would appreciate it if you have experience working as a childcare worker in preschool. We also see that you ideally have experience working with children with special needs and that you have worked with alternative communication, for example TAKK. You must also have a driver's license for a car. As a person, you should have excellent cooperation skills and be accommodating in your approach to children, guardians and colleagues. You are responsive, curious and development-oriented. You take initiative, find it easy to cooperate and build good relationships with children, guardians and colleagues. You should focus on children and have confidence in their ability and competence. You can be guided by preschool teachers in your work. Great importance will be placed on personal suitability.
