Svalövs Montessori is seeking a childcare provider for both our after-school program and preschool. We are looking for someone with excellent pedagogical skills working with children and students during their strongest developmental years, from ages 3 to 9. The cornerstone of Montessori pedagogy is freedom within set boundaries. Children learn best when they have the freedom to move, choose their own work, and follow their interests, as long as it doesn't negatively impact others. We are seeking someone with professional training and/or Montessori education, or trained as an after-school pedagogue or youth leader. You need both flexibility and experience with pedagogical work with children ages 3-11. It is desirable that you have worked in a Montessori program, have Montessori training, or have otherwise been in contact with and have knowledge of the pedagogy. Svalövs Montessori has existed since 1976 and is today a clear alternative with a positive belief in experience-based learning. We are an economic association, a so-called parent cooperative, with no profit distribution. We are a school with excellent conditions to give our children the start in life every child deserves. Work at the school is characterized by a holistic view of life. For your position to be full-time, working as a co-teacher during school hours is included. We warmly welcome your application!
