Do you want to work in a small municipality where you as an employee really make a difference and feel close to both residents and colleagues? Perstorp Municipality is now seeking an engaged and confident Child Secretary for the Individual and Family Care Services. As a Child Secretary, you will become an important part of our foster care team for all placement cases.
Duties
Your duties include, among other things:
Following up on children placed in foster care according to the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act
Conducting child interviews and documentation in our management systems
Planning and participating in meetings, care planning, and follow-ups
Cooperation with foster families, guardians, schools, health and medical services, and other stakeholders
Contributing to safe, lawful, and quality foster care
The work is varied, independent, and at the same time social with many collaboration points.
Qualifications
We are looking for you who have:
A degree in Social Work
Good knowledge of social services legislation, particularly the Social Services Act and the Care of Young Persons Act
Ability to create trusting relationships with children of different ages
Good communication skills and documentation experience
Valid driver's license class B (required for home visits and travel within the region)
Personal Qualities
We are looking for you who have:
The ability to work structured, independently, and with good judgment.
Meritorious
It is meritorious if you have previously worked with government authority, foster care, or other experience within the field of children and youth.
