We are now seeking midwives for the Delivery Department and Prenatal Department within the obstetrics and gynecology operational area (VO) in Malmö. On the Prenatal Department, we care for pregnant women who require inpatient care. We are also responsible for the majority of our inductions and handle outpatient services during on-call hours. Within Skåne University Hospital (Sus) women's healthcare, approximately 8000 babies are born per year, distributed across just over 4800 deliveries in Malmö and 3000 in Lund. In Malmö, we handle both normal and complicated deliveries from week 28 of pregnancy onward. We are a warm, dynamic, and multicultural workplace where every colleague's expertise is valued. WORK TASKS We are now seeking you—someone who wants to develop as a midwife and is interested in women's healthcare. In your role as a midwife with us, your task is to ensure that the pregnant and birthing woman, partner, and child are cared for in the best way possible and provided with safe and secure care. You work independently with normal deliveries together with nursing assistants, and in more complex situations in close collaboration with physicians. We offer interesting and stimulating work at the Delivery Department and Prenatal Department in Malmö, where we also maintain close collaboration with the Neonatal Department and the Mother and Baby Unit. These positions involve employment for night, day, and evening shifts. QUALIFICATIONS We believe you would thrive with us if you are curious, committed, and want to continue developing. We seek you—a licensed midwife with authorization to practice within Swedish healthcare. Swedish language skills at a minimum level of C1 according to the Council of Europe's scale are required.
