We are now recruiting licensed midwives for the Hörby Midwifery Clinic—one permanent full-time position and one full-time temporary position. In accordance with the Public Health Committee's mandate, we manage normal pregnancy and offer parental support, ultrasound services, contraceptive counseling, STI testing, and cervical cancer screening. We work according to the specifications for accredited Midwifery Clinics within Region Skåne. We are at the forefront of digital development and offer health consultations, contraceptive counseling, and menopause counseling via video visits. The Hörby Midwifery Clinic is in the process of becoming part of a family center, where we will focus on good collaboration with all healthcare providers involved in supporting the growing family. As a midwife with us, you will meet a broad spectrum of patients—varying in age, background, education, and experience. We already have maternal health services, child health services, and social workers on site. JOB DUTIES As a midwife with us, you will have independent and stimulating work where, through your approach and expertise, you can make a real difference for individuals. We offer you an introduction tailored to your experience so you can integrate into the clinic smoothly. The midwife role includes, among other things, pregnancy monitoring according to Region Skåne's base program, contraceptive counseling, lifestyle advice, gynecological cervical screening, minor gynecology, STI testing, and HPV vaccination. You will work in completely newly renovated premises at the new family center in Hörby, a long-awaited initiative that opens at the end of August. You will be part of close, multiprofessional collaboration with child health nurses, family counselors, preschool educators, and physicians, with the family in focus and the opportunity to create a safe and accessible service for our residents. Working hours are daytime, Monday to Friday. Service at other clinics in the area may occur if needed. Remote work can be offered, by agreement and if the clinic permits. One day per week, another midwife is on-site. QUALIFICATIONS We welcome you as a licensed midwife with authorization to work in Swedish healthcare. You have Swedish language skills equivalent to at least level C1 according to the Council of Europe scale. We use IT support as much as possible to facilitate care and free up time for personal contact. Therefore, it is an advantage if you have experience working in different care management systems. It is also meritorious if you have professional experience as a midwife, preferably from maternal health services, delivery and perinatal units, and/or postpartum wards. Additionally, it is advantageous if you have menopause counseling training, 7.5 credits. You are confident and independent in your professional role. You understand the value of good teamwork and contribute to it by sharing your knowledge and experience.
