Women's healthcare in Gävleborg is located in Gävle and Hudiksvall. At the Maternity/Gynecology Department in Gävle, we are approximately 50 employees who together are responsible for 18 care beds for maternity and gynecology services. We are now seeking you—a new or experienced midwife/nurse with an interest in women's healthcare. We welcome your application! 1 position(s). JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As a midwife/nurse with us, you will be responsible for ensuring that patients receive the care, support, and information they need with a focus on good patient treatment. You will collaborate with various professionals around the patient and perform patient-centered nursing work such as identifying care needs, ordering and prioritizing. We work in care teams consisting of a midwife/nurse and nursing assistant. We operate 24/7 with weekend on-call duties. As a midwife/nurse, you will work with among other things: • identifying care needs • preventive measures • mentoring students, interns, and new employees. You are interested in development and improvement work, you are confident in your professional role, and you have the ability to treat people in a professional and empathetic manner. As a midwife/nurse you should: • be a licensed nurse and/or midwife. For this position, it is considered an asset if you have experience working in a care ward.
