The maternity unit in Hudiksvall has approximately 900 deliveries per year from week 32 of pregnancy. We have an obstetric outpatient clinic and a postpartum ward with eight beds where partners also have the opportunity to stay overnight. We have a working method we call NSF, newborn united family, where we strive for zero separation between mother and child and where we also collaborate with NEO to achieve our vision. JOB DUTIES In your role as a midwife, you meet women and families at different stages of life where you are an important part in promoting health and well-being. Working as a midwife with us is varied and educational where you provide care and support to women and their families during pregnancy, delivery and postpartum care. Day, evening and possible night shifts are part of the position. As a midwife with us, you will, among other things: • rotate between maternity and postpartum ward • provide care for postpartum women and newborn infants • perform other customary midwifery duties.
