Björkskatan Health Center is one of Luleå's largest health centers with approximately 11,700 registered citizens. Our operations include physician and nurse clinics, laboratory services, maternal and child health care, physical therapy and occupational therapy, and a psychosocial team. We are over 40 employees working together in close collaboration to develop our work methods for our patients' benefit and to create a good work environment. About the Position We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife with good knowledge of Swedish and English. It is a merit if you have knowledge of the Cosmic medical records system and have worked in primary care. Great importance is placed on personal qualities. You plan, organize and prioritize work in an efficient manner. You have good collaboration skills as you value and see the benefit of working with others while taking responsibility for your tasks and working independently. Your Responsibilities The work tasks include, among other things, pregnancy check-ups with support for prospective parents, contraceptive counseling, STI prevention work, and gynecological screening tests. As a midwife with us, you work independently and in close collaboration with, among others, the child health care clinic (BVC). The midwives at Björkskatan also work for patients in Råneå and Gammelstad but have their clinic at Björkskatan.
