Gotland Youth Health Clinic is part of the obstetrics and gynecological outpatient care unit. Our mission is to work in a health-promoting and preventive way regarding young people's mental, social, and sexual health. We work in teams with a multidisciplinary approach around our patients so we can see and support the whole picture of a young person's needs and life areas. The team includes midwives, nurses, nursing assistants, physicians, and counselors. Your responsibilities As a midwife at the youth clinic, you will work primarily with contraceptive counseling, STI testing, and supportive conversations. We work multidisciplinarily and have close collaboration within the team around the patient. Together with your colleagues, you will conduct outreach work at all of Gotland's primary schools grades 7-9 including adapted schools. We also conduct outreach activities at youth centers and other venues where young people gather. It is varied work with significant development opportunities. Who are you? We are looking for you who are a licensed midwife. We would appreciate it if you have experience from working at a youth clinic and with SRHR issues. However, we also welcome applications from newly graduated midwives. You have an engaged and flexible approach, and we place great importance on personal suitability.
