At Mimer Cultural Center, we're building something new. We want to create a library where imagination, a love of reading, and creativity have a place every day. Now we're looking for a children's librarian who wants to help shape the future of library services with us!
With us, you'll have the opportunity to develop activities that inspire reading, creativity, and a spirit of discovery. You'll build relationships with children and families, collaborate with preschools, schools, and associations, and contribute your own ideas about how the library can become a natural part of children's everyday lives.
Signtuna Municipality's libraries are located in four places: Märsta, Sigtuna, Valsta, and Rosersberg. This position is based at the new Mimer Cultural Center in Valsta. Mimer is not a cultural center where different activities merely share spaces – here we work together to create something bigger. Through collaboration between the library, cultural activities, civil society, and municipal operations, we want to create a place where people meet, learn, create, and feel included. Here we want to provide space for reading, creativity, language, democracy, and community, and we're looking for you to help turn these ideas into reality!
