The Ogre Municipality Guardianship Board (Registration No. 40900037354) invites applicants for a vacant position of Member of the Ogre Municipality Guardianship Board. Vacancy for an indefinite period. Requirements for applicants: A member of the Guardianship Board may be a person: • who is a citizen or non-citizen of the Republic of Latvia; • who has reached 30 years of age; • who has acquired at least an academic bachelor's degree or professional bachelor's degree and level 5 professional qualification or other qualification corresponding to level 6 of the European Qualifications Framework as defined in the Latvian education classification in pedagogy, psychology, medicine, social work or legal science, education management or public administration, and who has at least three years of work experience in the relevant field of acquired education or in performing the duties of a guardianship board chairperson, deputy chairperson, or member; • who speaks the official language at the highest level; • absence of the obstacles specified in Article 11 of the Guardianship Board Law to hold the position of member of the Guardianship Board; • who has an unblemished reputation. Main job duties: • prepare and direct cases for consideration at Guardianship Board meetings; • prepare draft decisions; • participate in Guardianship Board meetings, ensuring collegial decision-making, as well as take actions to ensure decision implementation; • verify living conditions at persons' places of residence and document the findings; • ascertain the child's opinion; • prepare document drafts in accordance with regulatory requirements; • receive visitors and provide consultations; • represent the Guardianship Board in courts, state and municipal institutions; • perform other job duties in accordance with regulatory requirements. Applicants must submit the following documents: • a motivated cover letter; • a curriculum vitae (CV); • copies of documents confirming education and qualifications; • a confirmation that the applicant agrees that the competition commission may obtain data from the Ministry of Interior's Information Center Criminal Record regarding the person's convictions and administrative violations; • confirmation of proficiency in the official language (if necessary).
