Working with us At Åkeshovs Swimming and Sports Hall, you'll be part of an engaged team of around 22 people who make a difference together every day. Åkeshovs Swimming and Sports Hall is more than just a swimming facility, it's a living meeting place, characterized by diversity, community and pride. Here children, youth, adults and seniors train side by side and we meet people from all over the world under the same roof. To provide good accessibility to Stockholmers, we staff the facility between 6 AM–11 PM, 7 days a week, which means we work shifts, evenings and weekends. Read more about City of Stockholm employee benefits at jobba.stockholm/formaner Your role As a pool manager with us, you are the face of our operations and always deliver the highest service to our visitors at the facility. As a pool manager, you help create conditions for all Stockholmers to become more physically active. Your tasks include keeping the facility clean and safe, working at the reception, providing service to visitors and leading swimming lessons for children and adults. Facility maintenance and reception work are a large part of all our positions. This position includes responsibility for swimming school operations. Together as a work group we share responsibility for maintaining a high standard at our facility. We ensure that the premises are clean and fresh and that all our visitors feel safe when at the facility. Your competence and experience You have: Upper secondary school education Good Swedish in speech and writing, and ability to adapt your communication to the person and situation Good computer skills Good swimming ability and can perform a deep dive to 3.5 meters. Desirable qualifications: Experience working in service and customer interactions Swimming instructor certification Previous work with children and youth or people with disabilities. Experience leading others in a work situation. To succeed in this role we believe you are resourceful, enthusiastic and have a contact-building work approach. You are driven to find solutions to motivate physical activity among those who don't currently exercise. To fit with us, it's important that you take responsibility for the overall facility, adapt easily to changing circumstances, have a pedagogical nature and work well with others.
