The Technical Division operates its activities in-house and consists of five operational areas: Street/Park/Harbor, Nyköping Water, Waste Management, Meal Service, and Municipal Properties. These are supported by a project unit, finance department, and administrative staff. The division employs approximately 400 permanent employees and has an annual turnover of over 1 billion kronor. Our clients are the Municipal Executive Board, the Environment and Construction Committee, and the Culture and Recreation Committee. Municipal Properties is responsible for facility resource planning and facility supply to the municipality's operations and management of the municipality's property portfolio. We plan and implement maintenance, operations, and new construction, renovations, and extensions of facilities for the municipality's operations. We currently have 35 employees distributed across the Management, Operations, and Planning and Investigation units. We manage 340,000 m² of owned facilities and 60,000 m² of rented facilities. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES As an operations technician specializing in pool facilities at Municipal Properties, you will be part of our operations team, which currently consists of 23 employees. Your main responsibilities will be to ensure safe and well-functioning operations of the municipality's pool facilities. The work includes, among other things: • Water treatment and water quality assurance • Chemical handling • Sampling and water analysis • Self-inspection according to applicable regulations • Operations, supervision, and maintenance of technical installations • Record keeping and documentation • Reporting incidents to relevant authorities • You will be offered varied work where you work with both emergency measures, ongoing supervision and care, and planned preventive maintenance. The role also includes operational optimization and energy efficiency improvements of facilities and technical systems, with support from the unit's specialists. You are responsible for the operations and maintenance of buildings and facilities within the municipality's property portfolio. An important part of the work is ensuring that technical systems function as intended and deliver the quality and functionality that operations expect. The job responsibilities also include operations-related questions regarding plumbing, heating and ventilation systems, and other technical installations. QUALIFICATIONS We are looking for someone who has: • At least a high school diploma from a plumbing and real estate program or equivalent deemed by the employer to be equivalent • Professional experience in technical operations, maintenance, and care of facilities as well as pool operations? • Certified training in pool and bath water technology • Class B driver's license • Good ability to express yourself in Swedish, both verbally and in writing • Good computer skills and IT knowledge to work in digital monitoring systems Meritorious: • Professional experience with maintenance and operations from pool facilities, process industry, or water treatment • Knowledge and experience working with plumbing, electrical, and control and regulation technology • Knowledge and experience working with plumbing We are looking for someone who finds it easy to create and maintain good relationships and enjoys collaborating with people both internally and externally.
