The Enable Contact Unit delivers digital solutions to facilitate and streamline contact between job seekers and employers in their interactions with the Swedish Public Employment Service. The Section's Mission Within the Unit, the Registration Section is responsible for technical and user-friendly solutions for account management, contact information, meeting bookings, powers of attorney, and consents. As a backend developer with us, your primary task is to work together with your team to both develop new solutions and maintain existing ones. You will be part of an agile system development team that takes responsibility all the way from idea to development and monitoring of digital solutions. We have a spirit of creativity and great commitment, where everyone helps each other and contributes to shared learning. As a developer with us, you work closely with product owners, the development team, other IT teams, and the business. Who We Are Looking For We are looking for a senior backend developer with Java experience who has extensive knowledge and experience to work independently but is also a skilled team player. We believe you are a problem-solving person who values teamwork and agile working methods. As a person, you are engaged and curious about the needs of the assignment and strive to deliver the best results every time. The ability to quickly adapt to changed circumstances and be flexible is fundamental to succeeding in the role. Therefore, you need to be curious to learn new things and develop both yourself and others. You have the ability to work in a structured manner and document solution proposals and solutions, as well as take responsibility for code quality and operational documentation. More About Working With Us Basic Requirements for the Position At least three years of higher education in data/IT or equivalent knowledge acquired in other ways At least three years of experience developing in Java acquired within the last six years Experience working in large and complex system environments Experience working with SQL Experience with agile development methods, such as Scrum Good knowledge of Swedish, meaning good ability to communicate orally and in writing It is a merit if you have experience with: CI/CD and DevOps Container technology SOAP and REST Tools such as Git, Bitbucket, Maven, Openshift, Kubernetes, JBoss/EAP, Spring Boot, ArgoCD, Quay, Tekton, Helm, and/or Kustomize Test automation and test automation tools Work as a backend .NET programmer Work within a government agency or other politically controlled organization The State Values Framework guides us in our daily work.
