Friday is now looking for a business-oriented contract attorney who wants to work closely with the procurement organization in an international and high-tech operation. You'll be part of a small specialist group responsible for contract matters, contract management, and regulatory compliance within procurement. The group supports various parts of the business and serves as a business-focused legal support for both ongoing matters and larger, more complex projects. In this role, you'll support procurement professionals and other internal functions in commercial contract negotiations. You review and analyze agreements, identify legal and commercial risks, and contribute to finding solutions that both protect the business and work in practice. You'll also handle matters including processes, intellectual property, compliance, sustainability, and quality. Your responsibilities will include: • Analyze and review contracts and legal documents • Support the procurement team in negotiations, both in Sweden and internationally • Assist with strategic support in managing supplier deviations and terms • Participate in designing and ensuring contracts that meet both business objectives and legal requirements WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO: • Have a post-secondary degree in law, commercial law, or equivalent • Have a few years of work experience in the field, preferably with commercial contracts and contract negotiations • Have a clear business interest and understanding of how law can be used to enable business and create practical, workable solutions • Possess fluent knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written It is a merit if you have experience from procurement, compliance, or work within a larger international organization. Knowledge of French or German is also a merit! As a person, you are independent, responsible, and accustomed to driving matters from start to finish. You are confident and grounded in your competence, while also being communicative, patient, and skilled at building trust in negotiations. You have a pragmatic approach and the ability to find the balance between protecting the business from legal and commercial risks and developing solutions that work in practice. Since the role is broad and the pace can sometimes be high, we also see that you are organized, flexible, and comfortable with prioritizing between multiple parallel matters. ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT: This position requires that you undergo and be approved under applicable security protection regulations in effect at any given time. For positions where our client has requirements for security classification, this may, where applicable, entail requirements for certain citizenship. This is a consulting assignment, which means you will be employed by Friday.
