The Social Services Administration of the City of Stockholm has an overarching and coordinating role for social services' individual and family care and the disability sector. Here, we create good conditions to meet residents in need of social services support. In close collaboration with district administrations, we contribute to a modern, digital, lawful, equitable, and knowledge-based social service with a strong focus on development. Within the administration, a wide range of support measures are offered to the city's residents, and the offering changes based on Stockholmers' needs and district administrations' wishes. Work often takes place in close cooperation with other authorities, civil society, and the business sector. The Social Services Administration is also responsible for the city's food service and tobacco permits and conducts supervision. Welcome to us Within the Social Services Administration, there is the Competence Area for Disability and Social Psychiatry, which consists of four units. The Central Placement Unit assists social services within Stockholm's eleven district administrations in finding appropriate support options based on received support requests, supplier inspections, contract writing, and activity follow-ups. The purpose is to ensure equitable support and agreements in accordance with the Social Services Act (SoL), the Act with Special Provisions on Care of Children and Young People (LVU), and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities (LSS). This is to create more coordinated, lawful, efficient, and quality-based management of support and agreements. Through a shared approach, we contribute to increased quality, better overview, and more efficient use of the city's resources. Currently, the unit is under development with ongoing progressive improvements. At present, the unit consists of two areas; BoU and LSS. Now we're looking for staff for the central placement BoU unit. Your role As a contract administrator, you will be responsible for contract follow-ups, documentation, and requirements management, as well as monitoring of external service providers' operations. The position may include travel both in the local area and to other parts of Sweden to ensure quality. The position also includes supporting placement administrators with processing incoming support requests and searching for appropriate support options. The role involves close collaboration with the Social Services Administration's units, our district administrations, and external service providers. Through continuous dialogue with both service providers and district administrations, you work to ensure quality and good results. You will also, together with your team, establish structures and working methods for agreements and activity follow-ups. Your competence and experience We are looking for you who have: A degree in social work or other relevant university education, alternatively equivalent competence acquired through several years of relevant work experience Experience in public authority work with children and young people within individual and family care Experience working with placed children and young people in community care Experience and understanding of institutional care, emergency care homes, and family foster care, as well as complex support needs for children and young people Experience with support services outside framework agreements or work with external care providers It is meritorious to have: Experience with negotiations Experience as a purchaser of support services Experience from care provider/service provider side within relevant areas Experience in coordination and development work in teams Basic knowledge of relevant legislation such as LoU Familiarity with the City of Stockholm's organization, compensation system, and procurement processes To thrive and succeed in the role, you are organized to plan and organize your time effectively and are proactive in translating ideas and planning into action.
