About the role and your responsibilities Lunds Municipality applies freedom of choice for individuals regarding certain services under the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities and for home care services and municipal health and medical care in ordinary housing. The Municipality also has agreements under the Public Procurement Act regarding the operation of four special residences for the elderly. As a Contract Controller with a focus on quality, your main responsibilities will be to plan, implement, and develop systematic monitoring of procured suppliers. The purpose of these follow-ups is to systematically track and verify how suppliers meet the requirements set out in the procurement. The work also includes contributing knowledge and experience for upcoming procurements and development of, among other things, contract requirements and evaluation criteria. You will work closely with other support functions within the office and maintain ongoing contact with procured suppliers. The role involves many contact points where dialogue, collaboration, and professional conduct are crucial for creating good partnerships and contributing to the development of operations. We are looking for you We are looking for someone with relevant post-secondary education, for example in social work, law, economics, or social sciences, or alternatively other education that the employer considers equivalent. You have experience with contract monitoring, quality work, or operational monitoring, preferably within public operations or other politically governed organization. You have knowledge of the Social Services Act and the Act on Support and Services for Persons with Certain Disabilities. It is meritorious if you have a few years of experience in procurement and contract monitoring within the health and care operational area. You see possibilities and can adapt yourself and your work approach to new conditions. You take your own initiatives and actively seek information. You have good analytical skills and the ability to absorb extensive and sometimes complex information. It is crucial for the role that you express yourself well in speech and writing in the Swedish language. We highly value humility and a willingness to develop. It is important that you appreciate order and organization and work in a structured and systematic manner. You feel comfortable shifting focus between different issues and assignments as well as between independent work and collaborative work with others.
