About the Role As a Contract Management specialist, you will be a valued expert resource for our project operations. You will work closely with project managers and support them on contract-related matters throughout the project lifecycle. The work aims to ensure that Vattenfall Eldistribution's rights and obligations in entered agreements are managed with the intention of minimizing risks and maximizing the benefits of these agreements. This can range from contract interpretation and handling of additional work to negotiations with contractors and advice on business-critical decisions. You will become an important part of ensuring that our projects are executed in a business-like, sustainable, and professional manner where both risks and opportunities are managed in a structured way. Part of the assignment also involves developing collaboration with external stakeholders such as Svenska kraftnät, Trafikverket, and other infrastructure development activities. Here you will drive the establishment of collaboration formats, develop contract templates, and support the preparation and review of agreements related to, for example, joint construction, guarantees, and other joint projects. In this role, you will also have the opportunity to influence how we work going forward by developing internal networks, creating forums for experience sharing, and strengthening collaboration between, for example, Contract Management, procurement, and project operations. You will be part of a team of nine engaged colleagues who together contribute broad expertise and experience. We are represented in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Trollhättan, and Luleå and work closely together, regardless of geographic location. Examples of Work Tasks Provide specialist support to project managers on contract and agreement matters. Together with the projects, ensure compliance with contract terms in supplier and contractor agreements from project start to project completion. Support project managers and representatives in meetings or participate in and lead negotiations with contractors or consulting suppliers. Interpret contracts and assess issues regarding changes and additional work. Write, develop, and review agreements with external stakeholders such as Svenska kraftnät and Trafikverket. Prepare and further develop contract templates, working methods, and support materials, and drive a structured process for contract signing. Build and develop collaborations and networks both internally and externally. Collect experiences from projects and work on improvements to contract documents, working methods, and methodology for contract compliance. Requirements We are looking for someone with experience of qualified work with complex contract and agreement matters within contracting, construction, infrastructure, energy, or other project-intensive operations. You have good knowledge of agreements based on AB, ABT, and ABK and are accustomed to working in environments where business, legal, and operational perspectives need to be balanced. You have a good understanding of how large projects work and feel comfortable in dialogues where business, legal, and relationship considerations need to be weighed together. Regardless of whether your background is in the contracting industry, law, project management, or contract management, you have the ability to translate complex contracts into practical and business-focused solutions. As a person, you are proactive and self-driven. You thrive in a role where you are expected to create structure, build relationships, and actively drive matters forward. You are unpretentious, curious, and dare to ask questions while having the ability to build trust and get others to want to collaborate with you. We also believe that you: Have experience with contractor agreements and/or contract management. Are accustomed to collaborating with many different stakeholders.
