Contracts and Property Manager at Swedish Red Cross The Red Cross is seeking an engaged and development-minded contracts and property manager to our central organization. In this role, you will have the opportunity to combine contracts issues, property/premises issues and logistics issues while contributing to our humanitarian mission. About the position The role encompasses overall responsibility for contracts, premises and property-related issues that ensure efficient solutions for the organization in close cooperation with internal operations and external suppliers. You contribute to creating functional, efficient and sustainable environments that enable the Red Cross humanitarian work. Your main responsibilities: - Property management of the organization's premises, contracts and rental law and ensuring appropriate and efficient use of premises - Work on sustainability issues related to premises (energy, environment, social sustainability) - Contracts issues within the organization including general contract issues, support to procurement, conduct negotiations with suppliers in priority areas - Responsibility for property-related services (maintenance, premises care, security, equipment) including responsibility towards property owners, landlords and suppliers - Insurance issues – contracts, negotiations with suppliers - Security manager for external security – solutions and supplier responsibility, fire protection work - Coordination of office services and office managers for SRK's various offices in the country including workplace environment meetings with responsible managers - Ensure compliance with laws and regulations within related areas of responsibility About you We are looking for someone who has: - Relevant university education in law, property management and/or real estate economics - Many years of experience in property management and/or premises provision - Many years of experience in procurement and contract management and negotiations with suppliers with good results - Experience working with logistics issues - Experience with budget responsibility - Leadership experience You are: - Structured - Business-minded and solution-oriented - Have good negotiation and cooperation skills - Independent with good prioritization skills - Have very good collaboration and communication skills - Engaged in social issues and share the Red Cross's values We offer - Meaningful work in a values-driven organization - Opportunity to influence and develop the procurement function - Flexible and inclusive work environment - Engaged colleagues and a strong social mission Other information The position is a permanent full-time employment based at our office on Lindhagensgatan in Stockholm. The role may involve travel within Sweden, primarily to our other staff offices in Malmö, Gothenburg and Umeå. We apply goal-based working hours and flexible work, which means you have the opportunity to work from another location up to two days a week based on operational conditions and in consultation with your manager.
