The Social Services Department is responsible for services, support, and assistance to individuals and families in the municipality. Our operations are governed primarily by the Social Services Act, the LSS Act, and the Health and Medical Services Act, and we must implement services regulated by these laws. All operations are centered on the individual to meet their needs. The assignment involves strong customer focus and a service-oriented approach.

Implementing organization LSS and social psychiatry with just over 350 permanent employees is a service operation aimed at children, youth, and adults. We are governed by LSS, SoL, and HSL, among others, and have responsibility for implementing services regulated by these laws. The operation is characterized by placing the individual at the center and collaborating to meet the individual's needs. The operation has strong customer focus, good service spirit, and provides conditions for boundary-crossing work that is both inspiring and competency-developing.

DUTIES
Substitute care service is an LSS service designed to relieve relatives/guardians in the care of a person with a functional disability.
The assignment involves offering support and service in an individually tailored manner.
In the assignment, it is important that in addition to a strong sense of responsibility, you also have the physical capabilities to participate in various activities/games. It also includes supporting and assisting the individual with various daily activities such as meals and personal hygiene such as toilet visits.
Working hours are approximately 12 hours per month and mainly scheduled on weekends. The work location is Tjällmo; therefore, this assignment requires that you have a driver's license and access to a car.
QUALIFICATIONS
It is advantageous if you are a nursing assistant or childcare provider and have experience working with people with functional disabilities.
As a person, you are calm, patient, and confident in yourself. You have the ability to separate the issue from the person and can feel secure even in uncertain situations.
Salary form: Hourly wage.
Employment form: Fixed-term employment.
Duration: Start date upon agreement, expires August 31, 2027.
Working hours: Mainly weekends (day and evening)
