The Benefit Fraud Division encompasses the areas of Crime Prevention, Control, Payment, and Recovery. The division's legal support includes providing support to the operations of reconsideration, litigation, and other operational areas of the division. As a department legal counsel, you will work closely with your fellow lawyers and we work together to ensure high quality and professional development in a sometimes high-paced work environment. Legal Support, Development, and Collaboration The department lawyers within the Benefit Fraud Division work with a broad range of legal issues within the above-mentioned areas. Tasks include quality assuring legal documents, supporting legal dialogues, drafting internal policy documents, responding to preparations and referrals, handling Ombudsman referrals, developing training materials, serving as a sounding board for operations, etc. The legal support also works strategically and systematically with information management related to the Administrative Procedure Act, the Public Access to Information and Secrecy Act, and GDPR. Försäkringskassan receives increasingly more authority and opportunities in the fight against benefit fraud, which means that legal development work is required in the implementation of reforms. The legal support at the Benefit Fraud Division should also contribute to the work of regulatory development with the aim of preventing benefit fraud. The work entails special responsibility for correct and uniform application of social insurance and other applicable legislation. Based on legal governance, you are responsible for monitoring legal developments within the Benefit Fraud Division. This includes developments in both social insurance law and other legal issues that affect the authority's ability to prevent benefit fraud. By providing close legal support to the division's employees and development activities, you contribute to good legal quality. You support managers and employees on legal matters and share your knowledge. You contribute to good collaboration both within the division and with other divisions, including the authority's legal department. As a lawyer, you will handle classified information, which places high demands on proper handling. Therefore, it is important that you, who will work for us, have a high level of security awareness. This is a job for someone who wants to take responsibility. We are looking for you who have a law degree (juris kandidat) or equivalent are notary certified or have equivalent competence, such as similar experience from a court or government agency act on your own initiative and take responsibility for results of high quality have a systematic and thorough work approach can understand and analyze complex issues communicate clearly, comprehensively, and in a structured manner both verbally and in writing collaborate effectively to achieve common goals.
