Responsibilities
Trafikverksskolan develops training and learning that provides the right skills for the future. We are in constant development, transitioning from traditional training solutions to varied learning with the customer in focus and a pedagogical approach. As Department Head, you are a key person in that development.
The role is characterized by many contact points. By building relationships and networks, you capture the operation's needs and translate them into training and methods that strengthen Trafikverket's and the industry's competence supply.
You are responsible for:
Leading and developing a department with approximately 12 employees
Managing operations, budget, personnel, and delivery
Developing varied learning approaches based on the operation's and industry's needs
Building long-term relationships with customers and other parts of Trafikverket
Driving cross-functional development and participating in Trafikverksskolan's management group
The department's employees are primarily located in Ängelholm, but also in other locations, which means travel is part of the position.

We are looking for someone who:
Has a relevant university or college degree, or other education combined with experience we consider equivalent
Has at least three years of current experience in a management or leadership role with personnel and operational responsibility in a large and complex organization
Has strong knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
Holds a driver's license for a regular car
It is a merit if you:
Have experience leading projects
Have experience with pedagogical work or developing training for adults
Have experience with change management
Have good knowledge of Trafikverket's operations and ideally expertise in traffic management, driver testing, or safety and preparedness
Other Information
We plan to conduct interviews via Skype on August 17-18 and a second interview on-site in Ängelholm on August 20-21.
