The Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic is located at two hospitals in the region and offers a broad and specialized healthcare range. Our goal is to provide safe, secure and high-quality ENT care. The clinic consists of approximately 70 employees, including physicians, nurses, nurse assistants, medical secretaries, audiologists and hearing technicians. The operations are characterized by commitment, collaboration and developmental drive, with the patient's best interests in focus throughout the entire care chain – from examination and treatment to follow-up. The clinic is modern and well-equipped and encompasses everything from physician consultations and outpatient procedures to technical hearing care. Here we work with, among other things, examinations of sleep-related breathing disorders, allergies, dizziness and nasal problems, and we also offer contact nurse support for cancer patients. Surgical operations are conducted at both hospitals, while Växjö has special responsibility for acute, on-call and inpatient care. DUTIES As department head for the ENT clinic, you are the direct supervisor of the clinic's nurses and nurse assistants. Operations are conducted in both Växjö and Ljungby, and you lead employees at both locations. The role involves a varied assignment and encompasses both strategic development issues and operational work in daily operations. You lead, develop and follow up work towards set goals and have responsibility for finances, work environment and personnel. You are part of the management group together with two other department heads and the clinic's operations manager. Together you are responsible for daily operations and long-term development.
