About Us As we expand, we are planning to establish operations in Östersund, where we have a major project starting in autumn 2026 – along with more exciting business opportunities ahead. We are seeking a Department Manager who wants to take overall responsibility and help build the business from the ground up. Granitor Electro operates in the business segments Service, Contract Work, Industry, Building Automation, and Security with customers in both private and public sectors. We have presence in around 70 locations from Malmö to Kiruna. Region Northern Norrland currently consists of departments in Hudiksvall, Sundsvall, Sollefteå, Örnsköldsvik, Luleå, Gällivare, and Kiruna, with Östersund to be added. We have good collaboration between our business areas and departments. We also work with innovative and climate-smart solutions through Green Electricity, including solar panel installations, charging stations, and automated and digital solutions. Responsibilities As Department Manager based in Östersund, you will play an important role in driving and developing the business forward. You are motivated by challenges and see opportunities where others see obstacles. In this role, you actively work to build local contacts and networks within the industry. We offer an exciting position where you build your own team from scratch and are responsible for the department's finances, including business and sales responsibility. In your daily work, you drive forward service and projects, using the management system as your foundation. You plan and control project finances and are responsible for procurement and staffing. With close leadership, you guide customers and team members with service as the focus. As Department Manager, you are responsible for: - Sales and budget responsibility - Personnel responsibility - Work environment responsibility - Project finance and procurement - Tender procedures - Planning and follow-up Experience and Competence We are looking for someone who is confident, positive, and driven, with an "entrepreneurial mindset" and good leadership experience. You have an understanding of economics and budgeting, and good ability to lead and delegate work. You manage relationships well, understand the importance and advantage of being responsive, communicative, and solving challenges in a constructive and unpretentious way. As a business-oriented manager, you have the ability to sell and drive business, are organized, and have good collaboration skills. Innovation and solution-oriented thinking are qualities we value highly. You have a broad local network, preferably within the electrical industry, and ideally have good technical knowledge. You have good understanding and/or experience working within industry, service, and/or contract work, preferably in electrical work. Requirements and Preferences: - Experience from the electrical/construction/industry sector in a management position - Knowledge of interpreting contract forms - A broad local contact network and very good customer relationships - Commercial and business understanding, ability to see the big picture and customer needs - Good knowledge and understanding of financial relationships and business systems - Experience and knowledge of staffing and personnel responsibility - Fluent Swedish language skills, both oral and written, and good English language skills - Good computer and system skills - The role requires a valid driver's license (category B) Meritorious - If you have experience running your own business, that's a plus - If you are also an electrician by training, that's meritorious Employment Terms We offer a full-time position (100%) with flexible working hours.
