We are now seeking a new department manager as our appreciated manager is retiring after many years in the business. During a transition period, you will work together, which gives you valuable mentorship and a solid introduction before you fully take over the responsibility. About Us In Kiruna, we currently have about 20 employees consisting of electricians, technicians, and project managers. We work primarily within service and installation for customers in construction, real estate, industry, and municipal sectors. We also offer climate-smart solutions in the form of Green Electricity, such as solar panel systems, charging stations, and automated and digital solutions. Key Responsibilities As Department Manager for our Kiruna division, you will drive and develop the business forward and are responsible for the department's finances, including business and sales responsibility. In daily operations, you work on the progression of service and projects, with the management system as the foundation. You plan and control project finances and are responsible for procurement and staffing. With close leadership, you guide customers and team members with service in focus. As Department Manager, you are responsible for: Sales and Budget Responsibility Personnel Responsibility Work Environment Responsibility Project Finance and Procurement Tender Procedures Planning and Follow-up Experience and Competence We are looking for someone who is confident, positive, and driven, with an "entrepreneurial mindset" and good leadership experience. You have an understanding of finance and budgets and a strong ability to lead and distribute work. You handle relationships well, understand the importance and advantage of being attentive, communicative, and solving challenges in a constructive and unpretentious manner. As a business-oriented manager, you have the ability to sell and drive business, are structured and methodical, and have good collaboration skills. Innovation and solution-oriented thinking are qualities that are highly valued. You have a broad local network, preferably within electrical/construction/industry, and have technical knowledge in electrical/mechanical work. You have good understanding and/or experience working in the electrical and construction industries, preferably with service, contracting, or industry. Requirements and Desired Qualifications: Experience from the Electrical/Construction/Industry sector as, for example, a work supervisor or operations manager/department manager Knowledge of interpreting contract terms A broad local network within construction/electrical/industry Business and commercial understanding, ability to see the whole picture and customer needs Good knowledge and understanding of financial relationships and business systems Experience and knowledge of staffing and personnel responsibility Fluent Swedish language skills, both spoken and written, as well as good English language skills Good computer and system skills The position requires a valid driver's license (category B) Meritorious If you have experience running your own business, that is a plus. If you are also an electrician by training, that is meritorious. Employment Terms We offer a full-time position (100%) and trust-based working hours (typically 07-16). Based in Kiruna.
