Folktandvården is part of the healthcare system and consists of general dentistry and specialist dentistry that together work for good oral health among the county's residents. Folktandvården Kronoberg conducts development activities at the Västerbron clinic and training and mentoring of newly hired employees at the Linné Odontologica clinic. A digital dental clinic is planned to increase accessibility for our patients. Operations are characterized by collaboration, quality, and clear patient focus.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are now looking for you to work as a department manager at Folktandvården Ljungby-Lagan.
Here you will, together with another department manager through shared leadership, lead the daily operational activities. You are responsible for operations, personnel, and finances and ensure that the assignment is carried out with high quality and efficiency. As a department manager, you prioritize and allocate resources, follow up on goals and results, and drive continuous improvement work. You are an active part of the area's management group and contribute to development from a holistic perspective.
The assignment includes supporting the operations manager in their overall responsibility and, if needed, being able to serve as acting operations manager. You are responsible for creating good conditions for employees and ensuring a good work environment. In addition to your main assignment, the department manager can conduct clinical activities to an extent that is appropriate based on competence, clinic size, and organizational conditions.

In Region Kronoberg, we apply time-limited management appointments, which means you will receive a management appointment for four years and be employed in your base position.
QUALIFICATIONS
We are looking for you who practices present leadership and wants to develop general dentistry in a complex and socially important operation.
We are looking for you who has:
• a dental education or other relevant education that the employer considers appropriate
• experience from dental care
• experience from management or supervisory assignments
• ability to lead operational activities
• good collaboration and communication skills
• very good Swedish in speech and writing
It is a merit if you have:
• experience from public operations
• experience with change and improvement work
Personal Qualities
You are a confident and clear leader who creates trust and engagement. You have the ability to see the bigger picture while being able to prioritize and make decisions even in complex situations. You work in a relationship-building manner, are receptive, and have a coaching leadership style. You are driven by development, quality, and collaboration and have a genuine interest in creating good conditions for managers and employees to succeed in their assignments.
Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
