About the role
In this position, you're responsible for the daily operations of your department. You lead and support your team members, monitor operations, and ensure that production runs according to plan. Performance is tracked through key metrics in safety, quality, delivery precision, OEE/TAK, productivity, and competency development. You collaborate closely with planning, the production manager, and other department managers.
You will, among other things:
Lead, motivate, and develop your team members in daily work.
Plan, prioritize, and coordinate resources with planning and other functions.
Monitor production and ensure your department achieves its goals.
Be an active part of daily management and drive initiatives based on operational needs.
Drive continuous improvement work and projects within the department, supported by Lean or similar methodologies.
Take responsibility for work environment, rehabilitation matters, onboarding, and competency development.
Monitor your department's results and costs and ensure work is conducted according to established routines and processes.
You report to the production manager and are responsible for a CNC department with approximately 20 employees, including team leaders, machine technicians, and operators. Operations run on multiple shifts and demand high standards for quality, delivery precision, and efficiency. Therefore, you need to be a present leader who builds relationships and creates alignment across shift boundaries.
The position is located at Ekets Ullman in Alvesta.
Your profile
We're looking for someone with experience in personnel management within manufacturing and who thrives in an operational role close to production. You're experienced in production management and planning, prioritizing, and monitoring operations against clear goals. You also have solid experience with work environment management and rehabilitation matters.
Your leadership is clear, present, and engaging. You foster involvement, get people to work toward common goals, and collaborate well with both team members and colleagues in other parts of the organization.
You have experience working with business systems and communicate well in Swedish and English. You can identify improvement needs and translate them into concrete actions that develop your department's methods and results. Experience with Lean or similar improvement initiatives is a merit.
