Your Workplace
Within the AnOpIVA operational area, we include surgery, anesthesia, intensive care, sterilization services, postoperative care, and the Pain Center. The operational area employs approximately 400 staff members.
The Operations Department in Karlstad has 20 modern operating rooms. We perform both elective and emergency surgeries and operate around the clock. In total, we have approximately 150 staff members. You will be part of a management group where you become one of four department heads with direct responsibility for operating room nurses and nursing assistants.
Your Responsibilities
As a department head in Operations, you are a key person in work guided by the Region's vision and values. You lead based on set goals and assignments, continuously monitor results, and conduct trust-based leadership that contributes to motivated and engaged employees. In your role, you are responsible for the healthcare provided, personnel matters, budget, work environment, and operational development. You report directly to the operations manager and become part of the operational area's management group.
Your Knowledge and Competencies
You who apply for this position are a licensed nurse. It is meritorious if you are a specialist-trained nurse within anesthesia, surgery, or intensive care. Previous management experience is also meritorious.
You are a clear and trustworthy leader with the ability to translate strategic goals into concrete results. You have good collaboration skills and thrive in an environment where cooperation and a holistic approach are crucial for driving operations forward. We are keen to find the right person for the position, so great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.
