Department Head, Information Management

We are seeking a new department head for information management. Are you ready to lead and develop Tekniska verken's information management so that structure, quality, and smart solutions create value for the entire operation? We are now looking for an engaged and strategic department head who wants to strengthen the group's work with information management. As a department head, you are responsible for leading the department and developing the functional area within the group. You drive the work of creating sustainable working methods, clear processes, and common procedures that make information easy to find, understand, use, and preserve. You become an important link between operations and IT, ensuring that development efforts are based on the organization's needs, goals, and processes. Your responsibilities include leading the day-to-day work within the function and steering the department toward its established goals working cross-functionally within the group to develop the functional area leading and coordinating the development of the department's systems and digital solutions contributing to digitalization and creating structure in how the organization manages its information participating in and leading sub-projects within the department financial follow-up, invoicing, and budget work Are you the one we're looking for? We are seeking someone who is a clear, present, and coaching leader with an interest in order and organization. You view information management as a strategic issue and have a talent for translating regulations and requirements into practical working methods that people understand and want to follow. You support your colleagues, dare to set direction, and drive development in a way that creates engagement. As a person, you are communicative, relationship-building, and confident in influencing others. You enjoy creating alignment between different parts of the organization and can be an ambassador for the value of information management throughout the group. Experience and competencies we are seeking Academic qualification in information management, archives and information science, law, systems science, business economics, or another field we deem equivalent Experience working with information management, business development, process management, or other functions where structure, governance, and quality have been central Management/leadership experience with personnel responsibility Good knowledge of laws and regulations related to information management Strong interest in driving development through digitalization, structure, and smart working methods Good knowledge of the Swedish language, both written and oral It is meritorious if you have: experience with information management in larger organizations, groups, or the public sector experience with digitalization in registrature, document management, or archives experience with change management or development projects knowledge of information security, GDPR, and information classification Want to know more?
